We are FOUR!

We are Four!

Actually, there are still only the two of us. But we are backed by many supporters who believe in us and what we do, which is why we can celebrate four years of Total Heritage today!

We turned four years old and, following an age-old tradition established since we started, we celebrated at a heritage place that serves great local food. This time, it was at an Indian restaurant. It was a very busy afternoon, and the only way to get a nice, clean photo of us celebrating was to use AI to edit the photo.

This explains why there was a plant next to our table appearing to enjoy a vegetarian meal. Everything else is very real, as we felt over the clouds celebrating four years of success. A big thank you to you and your support over the years! ✌️✌️

Our co-founder and war historian, Dr John Kwok, was invited by the local news Channel News Asia for an interview on the disposal of a 100kg World War II bomb in Upper Bukit Timah.

The bomb discovered is a midrange bomb that could have been dropped between December 1941 and when the Japanese forces surrendered on 15 February 1942.

‘Unexploded Ordnance’, also known as ‘UXO’, could likely occur on sites affected by wartime battles and damages by referring to the historical maps. It is unlikely places that did not experience the war directly will have a high likelihood of discovering UXOs.
